There’s nothing more important to us than the health and safety of our visitors. Under the direction of New Jersey Governor’s Restart and Recovery Commission, Atlantic City is taking a responsible approach to safety-protocols. Atlantic City resorts and businesses are now operating at 100% capacity and many restrictions have been lifted. The use of masks are no longer required, however we encourage anyone who is not yet fully vaccinated to continue to wear a mask indoors or where you cannot social distance.   1. Are the hotels/casinos open?

  2. Are Atlantic City beaches open?
    Beaches are open for your enjoyment. Lifeguards are on duty at various beaches from Memorial Day - September 30. For more information concerning beach access please click here.
  3. Is the Atlantic City Boardwalk open?
    Yes, the Boardwalk is open with some restrictions. Social distancing is required and we strongly encourage you to wear a mask. For more information concerning Boardwalk access please click here.
  4. Is a mask required on the beaches and boardwalk?
    Masks are no longer required, however we encourage anyone who is not yet fully vaccinated to continue to wear a mask indoors or where you cannot social distance.
  5. Are the bathrooms along the Boardwalk open?
    Newly renovated restrooms are open year-round at New York Avenue, Mississippi Avenue, and Chelsea Avenue May 1 – September 30 from 7:00 AM until 9:30 PM and October 1 – April 30 from 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM. Seasonal restrooms at Caspian Avenue, New Hampshire Avenue, Albany Avenue, and Bartram Avenue are open May 21 - September 30 from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
  6. Are restaurants open for dining?

  7. Are the beach bars and clubs open?
    Yes, check with the beach bars and clubs directly for hours of operation. Click here for more information.
  8. Is the Tourist Information Center open?
    Yes, the Boardwalk Information Center is open daily from 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM located at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall, Boardwalk and Mississippi Avenue.
  9. Are the amusement parks and arcades open?
